Our first priority: Food prep and serving safety

With COVID making headlines across the country and the world, we’ve all been affected by the restrictions -- and some of us by the illness itself.

That's why, as our state gradually opens back up, we want you to know that your safety and the safety of your guests is the highest priority for us – whether you are ordering meals to go, dining with us at Jacquie’s Café, or making plans with us to celebrate a life event in the upcoming months.

Our catering and prep team is fully committed to the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.

Here are some of the extra measures we have implemented:

• We listen to the experts, closely following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), National Restaurant Association (ServSafe), and Indiana Government guidelines and all updates.
• We have implemented specific instructions with our team members on proper vigorous hand washing, proper glove use, and social distancing.
• All food prep areas in our home kitchen and those at venues are rigorously sanitized before prep, between dish prep, and all cutlery and equipment is thoroughly washed and sanitized multiple times.
• Each team member is asked before they are released to work at an event how they are feeling, and we have alternate workers available if needed.
• Hand sanitizers have been added to all food & beverage stations and when appropriate, modifying buffets to reduce communal access, and transitioning to individual servings where possible.

Jacquie and her team are proud to serve our local communities, businesses, family friends and individual patrons. That’s why, in addition to full-service event catering, we offer delivery and pick-up options so you can enjoy your favorite dishes in the comfort and safety of your home and/or office.
