As you may have heard, there was a fire next door to our kitchen prep facility early this month, which is also the home of Jacquie’s Café (9840 N. Michigan Road). The intense heat, smoke and fire damage was enough to cause us to temporarily close Jacquie’s Café and find new kitchen housing while the renovation gets underway.
The good news is – Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team didn’t miss a beat. We found a new temporary HQ nearby in Zionsville for our kitchen prep facility within three days, and we didn’t have to cancel a single event this month!
Plus we were able to salvage many of our favorite cooking and baking preparation pots, pans, utensils, and much of what we had stored farther back in our kitchen.
All have been moved to our temporary facility, which is working well for us during one of our busiest months – wit wedding season beginning in a matter of weeks.
And – in answer to many questions from our concerned customers, Jacquie’s Café will most definitely reopen as soon as possible.
In the meantime, a big shout out to our industrious team for working extra hard to make all this happen as seamlessly as it has.
We appreciate our many loyal friends and businesses who reached out to make sure we were all doing as well as possible under the circumstances.
We’re happy to report 20 + years in Indianapolis has served us – and our clients -- very well. Thank you, Indy, for putting your faith behind us.
