Who says a wedding reception has to be classic?

If we learned anything watching the lovely British wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, it is “To thine own self be true.” The royal couple themed their wedding their way, from what they wore to what was said during the ceremony, to what was served at the reception.

The good news is, wedding reception creativity and couple-inspired themes are going over well, everywhere!

So why do the same old thing? Make it memorable. Make it all about the two of you. The sky is the limit! Have fun, and wrap your celebration around what you love!

• Crostini Station with crusty hearty crostini breads and lots of fun, interesting toppings. Go healthy, sustainable, and/or ethnic!
• Tapas Station – From Brazilian to Greek themed, even vegetarian
• Taco bar – Just like your favorite food truck, only classier
• Fish tacos and margaritas – Talk about a theme! Ole!
• Personal pizzas – We can set up a station and your guests can order their favorite topping combinations
• Mashed potato bar – yummmmm!
• Mini grilled cheese “dunker” triangles with tomato soup
• Chicken and waffle station – very down home. Also very trendy.
• Italian (or French or Swiss!) dessert bar
• Raclette cheese station
• Warm cookies placed over milk – soooo homey and nice!
• Donut holes or sprinkle donuts color-matched to your wedding colors
• Mini strawberry shortcakes
• Pie or cake pops
• Caramel apples as parting edible gifts to take home
