Interactive food stations make any event a hit

We know a great way to make your next event a runaway hit, no matter the size of the event, the ages of those attending, or the time of day.

The answer is… catering with food stations at multiple locations in your home, at your event center, barn, tent, or place of business. Formal, informal, upscale, low-key, friends, strangers, family members, or a mix of all these.

You simply can’t go wrong with lots of different types of food prepared in any number of different ways (steamed, sauteed, braised, cooked to order, deep fried, or served cold). The key is knowing that your guests like to sample lots of different food, and then, adding or mixing accompanying ingredients or toppings, to make their dish a perfect complement for their palate. Not only is it satisfying, it’s fun!

Here’s just a sampling of what we can prepare for your guests:

  1.  DIY Food Stations

Let guests customize their own plates. This works very well with large groups (especially office or business related), where appetites and tastes are varied. It also works when your guests are multi-generational, from fussy kid eaters to seniors with defined tastes. The options are virtually endless, but here’s what is very popular among all groups:

  • Pasta stations with multiple sauce options (marinara sauces from meaty to cheesy, lemony to buttery, mild to spicey)
  • Gourmet grilled cheese bar with specialty breads and tons of local and international cheeses. Our chef prepares exactly what you want and grills it while you watch.
  • Breakfast bars are especially popular for morning office meetings. Who wouldn’t want to choose the ideal working breakfast when you can have waffles, bagels, pancakes & amazing toppings, bacon/ham/steak and egg sandwiches, or even a breakfast burrito made to order. Yumm!
  • Poke bowl bars are great for lunchtime events. Your staff/guests can make it light, or pack their bowls with protein. Gluten-free? No problem. Vegan? We gotcha. All natural and sustainable. Yes. Hot and spicey? Always an option.
  • Taco and fajita bars continue their popularity. Your guests can go meat-free, or build their main course around shredded chicken, pork or beef, or all three – with all kinds of toppings, from Mexican cheese to Indiana-grown tomatoes and peppers. Cilantro? Sure. Spicey? Just add what you want.
  • DIY Dessert Stations

Kid and adult-friendly, dessert stations are such a sweet way to top off an event. Here’s what’s popular:

  • Sundae stations. Start with classic ice cream flavors and go wild with toppings, from warm gooey chocolate sauce, to chocolate chips, nuts, cherries or strawberries, granola, coconut, even spicey sweet.
  • Classic S’mores bar (great for outside events, especially when it’s crisp outside.) It’s nostalgic and fun – especially when you can crisp up your marshmallows the way you like.
  • Macaron towers. The French knew what they were doing! Multiple flavors, colors, and lots of fun to eat.
  • Donut wall (such fun!) This works exceptionally well at wedding receptions. Yes, we really do stack them up on a wall!
  • Mini pies – maxi variety
  • LolliPop cakes in multiple flavors. Dip or not. Have one or come back for as many as you want.

Variety truly IS the spice of life! And – when you offer lots of choices at multiple locations, people mingle, chat, meet new people, trade ideas, and make your event super memorable. What’s better than that?
