Simon Property Group knows how to do business meetings

Simon Property Group board of directors held a dinner last week, from high atop their lovely 225 West Washington offices, courtesy of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering.

The dinner for 26 included summer-fresh organic butler-served hors d’oeuvres, perfect for a mid-summer’s evening:

  • Watermelon Bites with Goat Cheese, Mint and Fig Balsamic
  • Flatbread with Burrata, Roasted Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes and Fresh Basil
  • Indiana Corn Cake with Creme Fraiche and Mango Salsa

Guests were treated to an aromatic assortment of super premium wines, served table-side with the hors d’oeuvre selection, and throughout dinner.

Next course served was a delightfully light Salad of Citrus, Kale, Sprouts and avocado. (Everything but the avocado was Indiana-grown.)

Dinner included a choice of entrees:

  • Prime Indiana Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Ratatouille and Local Tomatoes
  • Served with Multi-Colored Fingerling Potatoes Garnished with Indiana Pea Shoots


  • King Ora Salmon with Lemon Viniagrette, Roasted Ratatouille, Fingerlng Potatoes, and Indiana Pea Shoots and
  • Selection of fresh Crusty Breads and European-style Butter

And what evening dinner would be complete without dessert? In keeping with the fresh and light summer theme, Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering served Seasonal Berries with Fresh Gourmet Sorbet and Garden Mint in a martini glass.

Business meeting with flair, from the perfect vantage point – all deliciously prepared and served.
