Sunday afternoon, March 21 marked the occasion of a very special wedding happily celebrated at Tinker House,1101 East 16th Street, downtown in Indianapolis.
Both the wedding venue and the catering were donated by Tinker House and Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, respectively. Both did so at the request of family and friends of a lovely bride, Stephanie, who is actively fighting a particularly difficult cancer diagnosis.
Tinker House – an absolutely gorgeous place to host a wedding — opened to guests at 3 pm Sunday, with the ceremony set to begin at 3:30. Friends and family swooped in earlier in the day to prepare the high-ceilinged room for the festivities and add lovely fresh spring flowers at each table.
Jacquie’s Gourmet provides the Buffet, which began serving hors d’oeuvres with a choice of
- Crisp Oven-fresh Bruschetta
- Bourbon Chicken Skewers
- Honey Balsamic Chicken Breast
- Baked Potatoes with Butter, Sour Cream, Cheese, Bacon
- Fresh Green Beans with Carmelized Onions
- House Salad with Ranch and Champagne Dressing
