The food manufacturing industry estimates that four of every ten Americans have some sort of dietary restriction. Naturally, those folks like to attend weddings, corporate lunches, pool parties, retirement parties, and grand openings, just like the folks who can eat most foods without worry.
So… it’s pretty important that a catering company understands and respects that a dietary restriction is more than a preference. In some cases, dietary restrictions are medically necessary, which is why Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering takes care to ensure the safety and dietary comfort of all of our guests.
We are always happy to create specialized individual or group menus that take into account gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies, Kosher, Halal, child-friendly -- and more – whatever is requested.
We never want a guest to feel disappointment when they arrive at an event and can’t eat anything that is served. That’s why we always ask for any guest dietary restrictions at all events – right from the start of menu planning. It’s a question we ask on our intake form, because the last thing we want is to inadvertently take away from the positive experience a guest may have at an event.
Jacquie’s Gourmet staff makes sure all special meals are prepared to order, and are deliciously created. The plates look appetizing and taste amazing. We take pride in making truly gourmet special plates.
We recommend that during event registration or invitation R.S.V.Ps, hosts ask if guests have any special food requirements. Your guests will appreciate being asked, rather than having to bring the topic up by themselves.
Knowing special food preferences in advance helps our hosts reduce last minute catering costs, plus it keeps food waste to a minimum. Perhaps most importantly, it assures that absolutely everyone can enjoy their meal — and ultimately, they will thoroughly enjoy your event.
