When you first enter INDUSTRY Event Center (https://industry.828venues.com/), you can’t help but pick up the vibe. The location is considered to be in the industrial district of the city, hence the name. The structure itself makes a bold, historic, austere, and minimalist statement, inside and out.
Located in the historic industrial district of Indy, INDUSTRY was opened in 1908 as a machine shop for ball bearings and metal fabrication. It was restored from the inside out in 2014 and re-dedicated as an event center, as Indy took note!
Everything from the brick to the concrete floors was redone, interior beams exposed, and new floor-to-ceiling windows installed along all five sides of the building. INDUSTRY is celebrated for those original brick walls, large garage doors, tall ceilings, stunning market lights, and over 6,800 square feet of historic space. The result created stellar natural light and an artsy openness throughout the space.
Located just two blocks from Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium, and three minutes from the center of Indianapolis, INDUSTRY has become one of Indianapolis' most celebrated multipurpose event spaces, and one of our favorite places to cater large parties.
INDUSTRY can accommodate large or small corporate events, as well as weddings, mitzvahs, galas, social celebrations, and much more. In-house amenities include well-placed tables and chairs, a private client room, a catering kitchenette, beverage, and a team of expert event planners who’ve been formally trained in the events industry.
