Living as we are, in the COVID-era, we have learned to expect that a certain number of events will be subject to cancellation or attendee restriction as the virus ebbs and flows around us.

Turns out that the next best thing to hosting an in-person event is a Virtual/Hybrid event, where a core group of people meet to celebrate in person while those preferring to celebrate remotely can do that as well – without missing out on the fun.
With some advance planning and a little technical know-how (we can help with this), you can plan your gala, fundraiser, party or event to revolve around your primary in-person attendees while using a virtual meeting platform to seamlessly live stream your event to your remote audience.
There are all kinds of services set up to do just this from Zoom, Borja Virtual, Remo, BlueJeans, LiveStream, Globalmeet, 6connex, and many more. Some are more business or meeting-oriented, and others are more event and/or gala-oriented. Some of these organizations provide all the technical set up, and others just give you the help you need.
You’ll want to be sure the setting for your event has WiFi and a good staging area, too. Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering has contracts with venues large and small across central Indiana. So we can recommend some venues ideal for what you have in mind.
