Want to have your event outside?

• Outdoor venues are generally less stuffy and more open. You can still have an intimate ceremony, or go large without folks feeling crowded.
• Having your vows under a flower-covered gazebo is oh-so-romantic!
• Consider the gazebo at Finley Creek Vineyard, Jacquie’s own facility.
• Jacquie’s also have catering privileges in more than 20 other outdoor venues in and around Indy.
• Outdoor weddings include nature’s abundance -- so you won’t need as many bouquets and flower arrangements.
• Outdoor wedding festivities are frequently less pricey than indoor spaces.
• Let the sunlight be your lighting – for great photographs.
• Choose a venue that offers places to set up a tent or two or a barn, just in case the weather gets iffy.
• Want your dog(s) to be a part of your wedding? Outside settings make this especially easy.
• If your event is in the evening, there’s nothing more romantic than getting married as the sun slowly sinks beneath the horizon.
• Consider plants in flowerpots as giveaways for a lasting memory of the event.
• String lighting helps keep things fun and well lit as the evening arrives.
• Stay outside and keep things casual with a big bonfire, or move inside for music and more fun.
• Signature wedding cocktails are fun. Name “his” and “hers” drinks… after your best man, or your college mascot, even after your dog. Have fun with it. Your guests will love it!
