Showcasing our culinary skills at Sycamore Winery

This past month, the Sycamore Winery in West Terre Haute held an Open House, which Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team considers a truly lovely place to host an event, whether corporate or personal.

Those wishing to check out the venue found a lovely winery, brewery and event center sitting on a 60-acre estate with walking trails and scenic lake views.

Because event-goers want to taste-test which caterers to tap for their next event, several catering companies were invited to showcase their offerings. Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering was pleased to be among them.

Attendees sampled wines and beers from the Sycamore brewery while they browsed the event tables to find out what’s new and fun to serve at events.

Here are some of our favorite “parfait” menu items we presented at the event:

  • Pulled Pork Parfait - Pimento Macaroni and cheese served with pulled pork and creamy coleslaw. Just the right size to serve as an appetizer or a light portable menu item.
  • Chicken and Waffle Parfait – Another delicious “pick up and eat” item, this yummy parfait featured a buttermilk waffle topped with fried chicken, crispy bacon and bourbon maple syrup. It was definitely a crowd pleaser at the event.

With Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, you can go light and casual or heavier with a sit down formal gourmet dinner. Not only do we do both, we also serve up everything in between.
