The Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team was “all wound up” for the 22nd Annual Watch Event at Reis Nichols Jewelers last month.
On Thursday, April 26th Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering prepared a Swiss themed Menu to highlight the 19 exquisite Swiss brands featured at the invitation-only cocktail reception.
Our Swiss-themed menu introduced Hoosiers to the Raclette, a classic Alpine dish, to help honor the fine Swiss timepieces showcased during the event.
Reis Nichols’ guests were delighted to discover that raclettes smell delicious as they are being prepared (fine Swiss cheeses being melted --- yumm!) Customers wasted no time following their noses to the raclette station to watch our chefs at work.
Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering added a Charcuterie board as well as Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Steamed New Potatoes, and Warm Amelia’s Breads to compliment the creamy, aromatic cheeses at the raclette station.
We also stocked a farm-to-table Risotto Bar with a choice of sides, chef assembled, and finished on a griddle. Guests paired these with a trio of unique salads featuring Red Beets, Apple and Fennel, and Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes.
The weekend following the grand event, Reis Nichols North and Greenwood stores wasted no time hosting two additional Swiss-themed lunches by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering while customers passed the time shopping for distinctive Swiss timepieces.
