Why ‘experienced’ matters

There are so many instances in event planning where our twenty-plus years of catering experience in-and-around the greater Indianapolis area makes a difference.

For instance:

  • We have seen first-hand that couples can fall in love with the look of an event center but not have it work out for the type of event they are planning. From lack of parking to terrible band acoustics, we have carefully steered folks away from venues that we knew wouldn’t match their expectations.

Since we know what kind of questions to ask facilities up front, we have saved more than one company from choosing a space that couldn’t actually accommodate their complex staging program.
  • When planning an outdoor wedding, weather plays a pivotal role in the outcome of the day. We always recommend a back-up plan – just in case the big day comes in like a lion rather than a lamb. This proactive thinking is not just for overhead cover – but also how food service might need to be re-directed in case of inclement weather.
  • What about making smart food choices when a summer event is scheduled outside? When the temp climbs over 90 degrees, all kinds of food items from shrimp to potato salad – and even cake icing – need ways to stay chilled and safe to eat. We never guess about this. We have a system in place.
