With about 250 guests expected each year, this popular Friday evening banquet for the very active Zionsville Chamber of Commerce is always well attended. At Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, we consider it a priviledge to be asked to cater it, especially since we are also proud Zionsville business owners and active members of the Chamber.
The doors open early -- at 4:30 pm with a social hour. Community members, business members, and their guests mingle at the Chamber hall, a lovely spot just off Main Street and adjacent to Zionsville park, in the heart of Zionsville.
As guests continue to arrive and meet, Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering sends out wait staff about 6:30 to pass out our popular (sustainabily sourced) hors d’oeuvres, making sure there is plenty for seconds (or thirds!)
The attendees and guests are seated, and the formal dinner begins at 7:30 with an Indiana locally sourced salad of
Roasted Winter Fruit with raisin bread croutons and Raspberry Champagne vinaigrette.
The dinner progresses with Tarragon Roasted Chicken (also locally sourced) served with Polenta, Roasted Baby Heirloom Indiana Carrots, and Vincotta Pan Jus. For those seeking a vegan alternative, we offered Stuffed Indiana Acorn Squash with Wild Rice.
As the business of the evening kicks off, we were pleased to offer Belgium Chocolate Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit and Shortbread Cookies or Poached Pears.
It’s a point of pride for us to attend this event each year. We are honored to play a part of this evening and watch our fellow Zionsville businesses thrive.
