Indiana Landmarks hosts a tasty Rescue Party

Jacquie Bols, owner of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, is a long time fan of Indiana Landmarks. And yes, Jacquie’s does fundraisers!

A nonprofit organization devoted to helping people save and revitalize historic Indiana places, Indiana Landmarks helps save spaces that matter to Hoosiers—such as houses, barns, bridges, churches, schools, downtown districts, and vintage neighborhoods. By restoring and repurposing historic buildings, Indiana Landmarks reconnects Hoosiers to their heritage and helps revitalize communities.

Jacquie and her Gourmet Catering team were proud to lend their talents to Indiana Landmark’s Saturday April 27th most recent “Rescue Party” fundraiser at the lovely renovated Cook Theatre.

The elegant evening began with passed hors d’oeuvres and an open bar:

  • Creole Deviled Eggs
  • Mini Crab Cakes with Sour Cream and Chive Sauce
  • Individual Southern Shrimp Cocktail
  • After the program, the evening progressed to a Late Night Snack Station filled with:
  • Shrimp Creole
Gumbo
with Red Beans and Rice
  • Jalapeno Corn Bread

…and culminated with a yummy Dessert Station, which – thoughtfully – could be boxed up and taken home:

  • Beignets Station with Fruit Compote
  • Lemon Curd
  • Bananas Foster with Ice Cream Station
  • Mini Pecan Pies

The Indiana Landmarks board of directors and fundraising team were pleased with the success of this “Rescue Party,” as were the happy attendees and Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team. Another Rescue Party, tastefully done!
