Sallie Mae management held a formal celebratory business dinner at Governor Eric Holcomb’s residence for just over 40 guests including their CEO.
Who says business meetings have to be boring?
This one was held in style at the governor’s residence, with a lively offering of traditional and non-traditional entrée favorites with a little chipotle kick.
The evening began at 5:30 as guests gathered for Hors d’oeuvres, including Ripe Heirloom tomatoes on buratta flatbread with fresh basil. This paired nicely with Poppy-seeded Tuna in a black radishes crowned with edible flower petals.
Next, Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering prepared a lively Indiana-themed salad. The unusual salad featured baked Indiana apples among frisee lettuce, goat cheese, and candied walnuts, topped with champagne vinaigrette.
After a brief introduction by the CEO, guests sat for a hearty Indiana dinner of Angus beef tenderloin with cabernet beurre, with sides of Spiced mills grits and bundled Haricot verts.
For those preferring fish, Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering prepared New Zealand King orca Salmon with chipotle, Spiced Mills grits, and pomegranate molasses.
