Fishers’ charming Ambassador House is nestled in nature

When you approach the curvy road leading in toward Ambassador House in Fishers Heritage Park, you simply have to trust that the historic house is there, as it’s hidden by hundreds of native trees, many of them well over a hundred years old.

Located at 10595 Eller Road in Fishers, Ambassador House (LINK: Ambassadorhouse.org) is a hidden gem, a Greek-revival style home built in the mid 1820s and surrounded by lovely Victorian-inspired gardens. Rich in history and loaded with charm, the house and gardens are owned and operated by the City of Fishers Parks and Recreation Department, and expertly maintained.

Spring through fall, Ambassador House and Heritage Gardens can host up to 250 guests in a lovely natural, tree-filled setting complete with a 40 by 100 foot event tent. A European-style terrace overlooks the gardens and is an ideal place to host outdoor weddings and special events, which have been known to be frequented by the occasional curious deer.

During cooler months, Ambassador house can accommodate up to 60 guests for intimate indoor weddings, receptions, or corporate events and parties. Rooms are cozy with fireplaces and charming views of the exterior.

Loaded with charm, Ambassador House is a favorite of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team. A fully-equipped kitchen makes cooking and catering easy. And all main rooms have been updated with Wi-Fi, ready for presentations, and music programs. Parking is available on premises.

It’s a great place for a cozy holiday wedding… as well as a summer wedding under a canopy of trees, surrounded by nature’s florals.
