You remember that TV show Cheers, right? You know, the “place where everyone knows your name”? Well, that’s just how it is at here at Jacquie’s Café, especially when Leah is your server.
“Leah is incredible, remembering all our regular customer’s names, every time,” smiles Jacquie Bols, owner/manager. “She really cares about making people feel at home and it shows.”
Leah also happens to be a darn good server. Having worked at Jacquie’s Café some 5 years now, she knows the menu inside and out.
According to Leah, “We have chicken salad that we call Chicken Crack, because it’s so highly addictive. Also our biscuits and gravy are to die for. When it comes to Jacquie’s Café, the secret of our success is our chefs. Gordon and Omar are the best. They work very hard in the back preparing our food. My job is easier. All I have to do is bring it to the table!”
“I truly enjoy working at Jacquie’s because I have the best guests. Many have shared their family and friends with me. This place is like home for so many repeat customers. No matter how busy I am when they walk in, they know that I am going to take good care of them.”
“And if I’m not at work when they come in, they worry about me. I have had several guests who call or text to make sure I’m okay. When I was out in January for planned surgery, I even received flowers at home from one of my favorite couples, plus several calls from others. How wonderful is that?”
“Truly, I couldn’t ask for a better staff or clientele. Working at Jacquie’s has truly been a blessing for me.”
At Jacquie’s Café, having Leah has been a lovely blessing for us as well. She’s definitely a customer favorite who loves her work. And that is what we’re all about.
