A stellar Bar Mitzvah at Westwood

Sometimes you want the kind of special get together that creates memories for a lifetime. That’s precisely why a bountiful Bar Mitzvah was held for 180 people at Westfield Vowery & Estate recently.

On a very warm Saturday evening a few weeks ago, Jacquie’s team set up a carefully curated evening for 80 adults and 100 kids to celebrate a very special Bar Mitzvah.

Adults enjoyed passed (Kosher) hors d’oeuvres including some of the hosts’ favorites:

• Mushrooms stuffed with Spinach and Parmesan
• Mini Crab Cakes with Mango Mojo
• Chicken Bourbon Skewers
• Ahi Tuna Tacos
• Californian Rolls

The Hors d’oeuvres for the younger honorees were guaranteed to please youthful taste buds:

• Mini Pretzel Bites
• (Kosher) Mini Pigs in Blankets with mustard and ketchup

Families and friends enjoyed a Double-sided buffet

• House Salad with Champagne Vinegarette
• Marinated Chicken Breast with Herbs de Provence
• Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon, Butter and Capers
• Baby Red Potatoes with Dill and Butter
• Assorted Roasted Vegetables
• Baby Rolls and Challah bread with Butter

While the kids snapped up their favorites at a special buffet:

• Chicken Fingers with ketchup
• Cheese Pizza
• Tater Tots

Everyone came together for our Dessert Table since folks of all ages love:

• Chocolate or glazed donuts (with icing and sprinkles, of course!)
• Chocolate chip cookies
• S'mores bar with  

     Marshmallows, Hershey's Milk and White Chocolate,

Ghirardelli Chocolate, and Graham Crackers

Jaquies Gourmet Catering does a lot more than weddings and corporate parties. We celebrate all of life’s moments. This evening’s Bar Mitzvah was a perfect example.
