Jacquie’s Gourmet is a frequent catering host for the annual Boone County Chamber awards dinner, for which we are grateful. It’s a fun winter evening we look forward to sharing with our fellow Chamber businesses.
This year the event was held at Finley Creek Vineyards, 795 US 421, in Zionsville, which of course is also located in beautiful Boone County.
This annual event is held to honor local businesses and business owners who have gone above and beyond in our community. This year, several business owners shared their stories of overcoming post-Covid downturns and achieving powerful business and personal goals, many favorably affecting Boone County as a whole. We were proud to honor them.
Over 200 members and their guests began to gather at Finley Creek Vineyards about 7 pm, warming up over a selection of cocktails, wines and beers at the cash bar.
From there, they headed over to look at auction items open for bids, then find their designated tables, decorated in black and silver. The evening’s formal program began about 7:45.
The menu included an Indiana favorite, Smoked Pulled Pork. We pared it with a Trio of Baked Beans and Grandma Red Skinned Potato Salad (which is one of our favorites!)
There was plenty of house made Corn Bread with farm fresh Butter, coming out piping hot from Finley Creek’s on premises kitchen.
For those that requested a vegan option, we offered our house made Vegan Meat Loaf with Mushroom Gravy. Yum!
It was a cozy evening despite the cold, with lots of surprises and several unexpected recipients. In other words, The Boone County Chamber did their usual terrific job honoring Boone County’s best and the brightest entrepreneurs and business mavens.
Congrats to all!
