In these days of Covid-19 quarantine, many of us are feeling the isolation of being apart. With many businesses shut down or operating with reduced staff, business owners and workers are feeling helpless and doing less.
We’re pleased to say that at Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, that’s not the case. Although most of the client parties, life celebrations and business meetings are paused for the time being, our catering business has simply shifted gears.
We are still preparing and cooking meals – breakfast, lunch and dinners – just in different ways. We offer carry out at Jacquie’s Café (just north of 96th Street on Michigan Road), for whatever sized group and at whatever time you need them.
We’re also offering Jacquie's special dinner-for-two on line with Daniel’s Vineyard, paired with a fantasti selection of Daniel’s fine wines.
Last week, we went a step farther. Jacquie’s Café team supplied box lunches to the Boys and Girls Club of Lebanon at no charge, so the Boys and Girls Club kids could pass out lunches to those in need.
Jacquie also sent just under a hundred desserts to hero nurses working long shifts among patients dealing with the coronavirus and other severe conditions at IU Health. They were also available boxed, so that nurses could take them home after their shift was over.
We applaud both groups for going above and beyond during this critical time in our nation’s history.
