The A to Z behind every successful event

It goes without saying that to pull off a successful event of any kind, there’s a whole bunch of stuff that’s important to consider. What, exactly?

Our incredibly diligent event planners lay out their thinking

A to (almost) Z on what to do and how to think about the details:

A:  The food. In our book, every event should be food forward. Emphasis on amazing taste. And fabulous presentation.

B:  The vibe. Set the pace for the evening. Upscale and festive? Or easy-going and comfortable. Either way, take a 360 degree perspective, considering décor; flowers, dishware, linen, lighting, and attire.

C:  Timing. A Sunday afternoon party or a Friday evening shindig? Think about what you want to serve and when; then talk to us about setting up the bar and what (and when) you want to serve.

D:  Numbers. Are you after an intimate evening? Or a wild bash? How many individuals you invite (children welcome? Adults only?) has a lot to do with the feel of your party.

E:  Where. We know hidden away event spaces, barn space, gorgeous outside venues with fabulous vistas, downtown spaces, chic, rustic, and everything in between. Make sure where you host your event matches up with your vision. Ask us.

F:  Budget. We have worked around tight budgets and produced great results. We’ve done sky’s the limit bashes that were amazing. And – everything in between. With experience and know-how including work-arounds and creativity, our amazing team gets things done right.

G:  Music. Don’t let this be an after-thought. Live music makes every event more fun (and more danceable). We can recommend some fantastic bands, local and regional, large or small.

H:  Your carbon footprint. It’s worth thinking about. Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering sets the standard for farm-to-table, sustainable, organic, and locally sourced foods. Recycling? As much as possible, always.

I:  Parking. Should be accessible to all. And nearby. The last thing you want is for incoming guests to be put off by a long walk through mud or cold. Or endless circling, looking for a space.

And last, but not least --

J:  Your involvement. How much of your time do you want to contribute? Some people love to be super-involved, others prefer leaving all or most of the details up to us. It’s up to you.
