Jacquie’s Catering recently provided appetizers for an evening event at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Hilbert Circle Theatre. IndyHub, a nonprofit organization for Indy’s twenty-/thirty-somethings to learn about and become a part of the city, held its get-together at the symphony for The Music of Queen: Forte Night with Indy Hub’s Passport to the Arts on February 25. The organization’s Passport to the Arts, sponsored by the Lilly Endowment, helps its members explore the city’s performance and art scenes.
Because the show started at 7 p.m., we wanted to provide guests with protein-packed, heartier appetizers for those who chose to forgo dinner until after the show. Working with IndyHub, we recommended a menu to fit their budget and the mixer-type atmosphere of the Hilbert Circle Theatre annex, where guests would be standing around cocktail tables and mingling before the show. We decided upon several popular, pre-show appetizers and small plates for attendees, in both sweet and savory options, including:
- Three Layer Pesto Torte with Crackers
- Bourbon Chicken Skewers
- Whole Brie with Cranberry, Onion and Pistachio Relish
- Selection of Mini Focaccia Sandwiches
- Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Flatbreads
- Mini Cheesecakes
- Chocolate Covered Strawberries
We enjoy providing catering for all type of Indianapolis-area networking events, from small gatherings to large banquets. Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering looks forward to catering more IndyHub events throughout the city this year.
